Refund Policies

Refund policies for each program are listed below. If you have any questions about these policies please contact the club treasurer.

TRAVEL TEAMS

Any player who leaves a hockey season early, due to injury or act of God, may be entitled to a refund or may still have an amount due. The final amount will be calculated as all payments made through the date of separation less the player’s share of costs incurred to date. Such final amount due and/or refund eligibility will be calculated following the end of the hockey season, or as soon as possible thereafter with all other refund eligibility. Costs incurred to date consist of, but are not limited to, preseason skill clinics, tryouts, ice time (i.e., practices, scrimmages, games, etc.), tournaments attended, equipment expenses, coaching fees, referee fees, district fees, administrative expenses, etc. A positive remaining balance may be refunded should the player remain in good standing and a negative remaining balance will be billed to the player's registration account holder. Additionally, unless an alternative payment plan has been established and properly adhered to in accordance with STMAYHA’s Collection Policy, any player who has an outstanding balance at season end will not be eligible for any refund. Finally, any refund checks not cashed from prior years will under no circumstances be voided and/or applied as credits to future fees, registration or otherwise.
