2026-27 Travel Registration Information

Here's what you need to know for 2026-27 Travel Registration:

1. Before You Register: You'll need your player's 2026-27 USA Hockey number and at least one parent's 2026-27 USA Hockey number. You can register for a number at membership.usahockey.com.

2. New Handbook: There's a new handbook this year — please refer to it for any questions: View the Handbook

3. New This Year: Jersey Number Selection: Numbers are assigned in waves by registration date — players who register together for a submission deadline are processed as a group. You may choose any number 1–98 (0, 00, 69, and 99 are excluded). First-choice numbers are honored whenever possible; if two players in the same wave request the same number, it goes to the player with the older birthdate, and the other player moves to their next choice. If you don't submit a preference (or none are available), we will assign one from what's left. Once a wave is processed, those numbers are locked in. Registering early gives your player the best shot at their preferred number.

4. Jersey & Warm-Up Pack: All players will receive: two travel jerseys & matching socks, practice jersey & matching socks, Pant (breezer) covers (travel players must either wear breezer covers or striped breezers, sold at Hat Trick Hockey), warm-up sweatshirt & pants, and winter hat. You'll enter sizing information during registration. If you have questions about sizing, you're welcome to stop by Hat Trick Hockey, Monday–Friday, 10 AM–7 PM. 5. Cost of Hockey: Costs remain similar to the 2025-26 season. Full details here: Cost of Hockey PDF

6. Weiser – Bantam/15U and Peewee/12U: Weiser is included this year for Bantam/15U and Peewee/12U players. Please note this is not an additional cost this year.

7. Volunteer Hours – 10 Hours Per Player: Each family is required to complete 10 association volunteer hours per player this season (separate from team volunteer shifts, which do not count toward this total). Families may buy out their association volunteer hours for $1,000 per player at registration (team volunteer hours are still required either way). If hours aren't completed by April 30, 2027, the $1,000 per player fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
